Harley Quinn becomes fascinated with the Joker while interning at Arkham, and volunteers to analyze him. She falls hopelessly in love nearly instantly with the Joker during their sessions, and ends up helping him to escape from the asylum (on more than one occasion). When the Joker is returned to Arkham after a battle with Batman, the sight of her badly injured patient drives Harley to don the costume and become Harley Quinn, the Joker's sidekick and on/off girlfriend.

Activision Publishing, Inc. announced earlier this week that Call of Duty: Black Ops continues to set sell-through records crossing the $1 billion mark in sales worldwide since its launch in November, according to internal Activision estimates.
In its first five days alone, the game sold more than $650 million worldwide, outpacing theatrical box office, book and video game sales records for five-day worldwide sell through in dollars, according to internal Activision estimates and boxofficemojo.com. Additionally, today Bungie unveils a new action-packed video documentary offering a behind-the-scenes look at the development of “Halo: Reach” and a sneak peek at the new modes, features and content that players will be able to test when the multiplayer beta kicks off on May 3.
“Halo: Reach” will be available in standard, Limited and Legendary editions when the game launches this fall. Both the Limited and Legendary editions are filled with content based on the fiction of “Halo: Reach” and the “Halo” universe, and are expected to sell out quickly. Kratos Returns Today In God of War III!
Final Installment of the Blockbuster Franchise Showcases the Power of the PS3 system With Larger-Than-Life Gameplay, Stunning Graphics, and Legendary Storytelling to Provide Consumers the Adventure of a Lifetime!
Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. today announced the North American release of God of War III, exclusively for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) system. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment’s award-winning Santa Monica Studios, God of War III is the final installment of the multi-million unit-selling trilogy that brings epic battles to life with stunning graphics, groundbreaking depths of scale, and signature gameplay along with an elaborate plot placing ex-Spartan warrior Kratos at the center of carnage and destruction as he seeks revenge against the Gods who have betrayed him.
Utilizing a new game engine built from the ground up and state-of-the-art visual technologies, the development team behind God of War III has made standard-setting strides in giving players the realistic feel of actually being on the battlegrounds. With texture resolutions quadrupling since God of War II on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, God of War III, in its debut on the PS3 system, will feature fluid, life-like characters, as well as dynamic lighting effects, a robust weapon system, and world-changing scenarios that will truly bring unmistakable realism to Kratos’ fateful quest. Players will have a chance to join battles on a grand scale that is four times larger than its predecessor, while experiencing detailed and unique 3D worlds lit by thousands of dynamic lights and textures that allow for astonishing realism and new heightened levels of brutality and gore.
“Since its announcement last spring and our demonstration shown at E3 2009, God of War III has remained one of the most eagerly anticipated titles in recent memory,” said Scott A. Set in the realm of brutal Greek mythology, God of War III picks up where the franchise left off allowing players to take on the climatic role of Kratos as he scales through the intimidating heights of Mt. Olympus and the dark depths of Hades to seek revenge on the gods. Armed with double-chained blades, and an array of new weapons and magic for this iteration of the trilogy, Kratos must take on mythology’s darkest creatures while solving intricate puzzles throughout his merciless quest to destroy Olympus.
